Terith

He acts like a fool and comes across as an energetic eccentric, not to mention he claims to be an elf but doesn’t much look like the known elf-kind out there. He’s skilled in herbology, but often gets himself in trouble scamming people with less-than-useful concoctions. Terith has proven to be a capable mage who displays bravery in the face of danger suggesting his happy-go-lucky exterior belies something more.

Kittika

A young woman (at least by elven age standards) from the desert kingdom of elves. Not only is being so far from home odd for one of her people, but she is also deadly with a bow and arrow despite coming from a culture where women are not allowed to learn warfare. She’s guarded, high strung, and cagey about her past. Knowing little about the world outside her sandy home she seems to stick with Terith on a mixed basis of survival and curiosity.

Ambrose

A human wizard and land baron, Ambrose is a reclusive figure. He resides in a large estate overlooking a small town where there are rumors abound that he experiments on various beings. He and Terith seem to have a past and he sent his apprentice to capture the latter.

Dahl

Dahl is Ambrose’s devoted apprentice. Although arrogant and quick-tempered he is respectful around his master and tends to the aging wizard’s needs, in return Ambrose aids him in his study of ancient Dark Magic. As a  result he has managed to streamline the complex art into a series of talismans which he carries with him to channel and enchance his magic. Dahl is a Dark Elf, a group which are close cousins to the Desert Elves.

“The Magos”

A construct created by Ambrose after decades of research through a mixture of alchemy, lost magic, and life creation magic using the flesh of many different beings. The creature was intended to be a mindless organic golem of sorts, imbued with strong magical ability, but he has mysteriously shown signs of intelligence.
