And now we get a good look at where Ambrose’s lair mansion castle thing is. There’s a town! And people! Honestly like I said before I didn’t want him to just be a wizard with a tower in the middle of nowhere that he inexplicably owns. He’s the Lord of a region, and I’m not sure I’ll get a chance to mention it any time soon in-comic but he’s the son of a land baron. So a pampered noble. Who knows magic.
Anyway peasants! And one who has a more detailed costume who has been focused on for some reason. What could this mean? Ho ho ho… stay tuned.
I sort of neglected to upload the page at midnight, sorry! No power means no white noise machine which equals a Sai that can’t sleep very well. Needless to say I was very tired yesterday.
Anyway PAGE! The outside of the crucible here hasn’t changed, but whatever’s inside must have. Duhn duh duuhh.
Dahl is a dutiful apprentice. Also his hair antennae just seem to be getting longer.
This was supposed to be Friday’s update, I was distracted by some family matters. I will (hopefully) be back on schedule now.
More character development for our villains, because I’m deep like that.
I will also say that this page gave me a sudden idea for a gag comic in the print of this issue involving Ambrose being put to bed with milk and bunny slippers. Serious characters are too tempting to write jokes about.
Back to the human peasants! A small, rural community that would of course call their emergency town meeting in the tavern and the town blacksmith is basically the same thing as the mayor. Also I’m afraid it can’t be made out well on this page but the name of the tavern is “The Mirthful Mug”.
The outsider speaks! Probably not a good idea to hit on a girl with a father that big and scary, lad.
Sorry I missed Monday’s update, and today’s was raaather late. My work schedule got a bit busy earlier this week and I once more have failed to keep a buffer.
